Sleep is the key factor to success in studies - Tips for CIMA Students |
Instead of placing in an all-night with the support of energy drinks, fresh study indicates that prioritizing a healthy night's sleep will give you the better grades if you want to pass those examinations.
U.S. researchers have found that students who were given an incentive to sleep at least eight hours a night in the run-up to their final examinations obtained better academic outcomes than their colleagues.
Michael Sculluon of Baylor University (Texas) said: "Better sleep has helped rather than affected final examination results, contrary to the perceptions of most college learners that they must sacrifice either study or sleep."
Students were given a deal-their grades would be increased by one percentage point if they averaged at least eight horus sleep for five nights before their final tests. Previous study stated that as tests approached, fewer than one in 10 learners slept at least seven hours of sleep a night.
Those who accomplished at least eight hours at night attained four percentage points greater in the experiment than those who failed to fulfill that goal of sleep, and that does not include the 1 percent incentive! As one student rested said: "It was the first time my brain operated while taking an exam."
As a CIMA students you need commitment and hard work to succeed in the exams so proper planning and time management help you to prevent you from last time panic and sleepless night before the exams.
Good luck CIMA students with your exams !!!!
